In this privacy statement, we explain how we process your data when you use our services, including our photo editing functionalities via social communication channels such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal.

1. What data do we collect?

We can process the following categories of personal data:

• Data you upload: Images and content you edit through our services
• Technical specifications: IP address, device information, browser type

2. How do we use your data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes and based on the corresponding legal grounds:

3. Use and responsibility of the user

• The user is fully responsible for uploading, processing, and sharing images through our services.
• If an image contains other people, the user is required to comply with applicable privacy laws and, if necessary, obtain consent from the individuals involved before the image is uploaded.
• Q-AI is not responsible for claims or disputes arising from the unauthorized processing or sharing of images by users.

4. Storage and analysis of images

• Images uploaded by users for editing are temporarily stored and automatically deleted after 2 weeks, with no possibility of recovery.
• Q-AI performs automated analyses on uploaded images in some cases, solely for the purpose of improving the performance and reliability of the service. These analyses are technical in nature and do not contain personal data. The results are not used for profiling, marketing, or any other form of personal data processing.
• All analysis data is processed within the retention period of the images and is then completely deleted.
• Users have the right to have their uploaded data deleted as long as it is still retained. Since images are automatically deleted after 2 weeks, deletion requests can only be processed within this period.

5. Data protection and privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We process your personal data in accordance with our privacy statement. We retain uploaded images only as long as necessary for processing and permanently delete them after 2 weeks, with no possibility of recovery.

6. Security of your data

• We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or theft.
• Encryption is applied to stored photos and communication channels.
• Access rights are limited: Only authorized systems have access to the images.
• We advise users to always keep a backup of original files.

Note: because we store uploaded images and associated data for a maximum of 14 days, we can only respond to requests as long as this data is still available. If your request pertains to data that has since been deleted, we can no longer address it.
